Troubleshooting
Below you'll find some information and troubleshooting you may want to try if you cannot get the subwoofer to work:
This unit has a dedicated subwoofer outlet.
1-Make certain that the setup menu is set to "Y" for subwoofer.
2-Use the built-in test tone to test all speakers for sound, including the subwoofer.
3-Make certain the subwoofer volume is turned up.
4-Make certain the subwoofer frequency knob is set to its highest limit.
5-Ensure the speaker on/off button is set to 'on'.
If you would like to program a remote control to work with this receiver, please use the codes provided by the remote control manufacturer for the Sherwood brand.
