Q - The audio quality is pretty bad. What should I do?
A - Check to see that all your audio cables are tightly connected to both the player and your audio equipment or TV. Are the audio channel output mode is set right? Use the OSD and reset it. Make sure you've connected the audio cable to the correct output.

Q - Why can't I see anything on my TV screen?
A - Are all your video cables tightly connected to both the player and your video equipment or TV? Is your TV plugged into an AC wall outlet? Is it turned on? Q - The video rolls and looks like black and white. Why?
A - The color system of the unit doesn't match with that of TV. Please use the OSD and select the correct TV TYPE until TV shows normal color.

Q - My disc won't play at all.
A - Is there a disc in the player? It should be sitting label side up in the disc tray. Check to see that the AC power cord is plugged in. Is there power at the AC or car side of the cord? Is the disc dirty? Smudges and scratches - especially near the center of the disc - can prevent discs from playing. Keep your discs protected. Moisture may have condensed in the unit. Remove the disc and leave the player off for about an hour.

Q - My remote control doesn't work.
A - This is an infrared remote control. It needs to "see" the player. Remove obstructions and try again. Aim the remote control right at the Insignia Player. The batteries may be dead. Replace them with new ones.
