To do this press tv/vcr to select the tv mode during the recording. The TV indicator will appear, now using the TV, select the channel you want to view.

I recorded some home made movies that I had in a dvd+r, I can play them in my computer, but not in my other DVD player, why is that?

The time recording is not working, and I checked the timer, the settings, the channel I selected, my cable box is properly connected to ant. In at the back, everything is ok, still, the disk has no sound and no picture, why is that?

When you have a cable box connected this way, you should set the time recording to channel 3, and tune the cable box to the  channel you want to record.
